This was my first try using paint pens. Played around with shapes to get used to the texture of the paint and how it feels to use the pens. Done in a watercolour sketchbook.
My first attempt at doing a portrait with a ballpoint pen. After having dedicated a lot of time to improving my digital art I took a break from it and turned to pen/pencil on paper and am quite happy with what I manage to create on my first attempt.
Part of my personal project of #1111DaysOfArt, where I explore and create something every day for 1111 days. All of these are from a watercolour instruction book I followed along. It is from a Chinese artist called Zhu Qu.
I did the water texture according to a tutorial by James Chapman, found on Instagram. The steampunk seahorse was an idea from a lady I am following on Instagram as well (look for @carrieisartsy) This piece is done on a paint chip card with poscapens, a gold marker and fineliners.
Just some rando stuff based on recent events. That sixth string was defective and I couldn't take it anymore! I'm not well-versed in fixing instruments, anyways...
